Featured Site Award-December 2007

For my very first recipient of the Avalon Rose Design Featured Site Award, I've chosen The Old Painted Cottage. The reason I chose this site was because this site was actually one of the very first custom sites designed by Avalon Rose Design, and Jennifer Grey, the owner of The Old Painted Cottage, has been a fantastic and loyal customer from the very beginning. The original design that we started with for Jennifer's site has evolved into what you see today. Jennifer is always so fun to work with, very friendly, understanding, and most of all she knows what she wants! Which is actually very helpful, and takes a lot of guesswork out of what I do. The Old Painted Cottage site design perfectly compliments the products that Jennifer sells on her site. Romantic cottage decor is what the site specializes in, and boy, does it deliver! All sorts of big or small, old or new, shabby or shiny treasures can be found on The Old Painted Cottage site, and I'm so proud to have a few of Jennifer's beautiful items displayed in my home. The Old Painted Cottage has recently gotten quite a bit of press recently as well. Jennifer's home was featured in (and on the cover of!) the October 2007 issue of Romantic Country magazine. I couldn't believe it when I saw the magazine on the stand in my local grocery store! I was so excited for Jennifer!
